Thank you for the reminder that play and transition can occur simultaneous, it is a timely reminder:

Last weekend, I reconnected with camping after years away and within hours, I was transformed to my playful, peaceful self!

I wanted to share with you a personal reflection that happened a couple of months ago…

while away for 4 days, my contractor (remodelling kitchen and bath) failed to reinsert a backwash hose to my whole house filter and 4 rooms of my house were flooded with standing red clay water for 4 days. My floors were ruined as were several baseboards.

While instant messaging with my brother about this incident, I caught myself catastrophizing the experience and just stopped my story. My next line went: All in all, how blessed I am to own a home where floors can be flooded when 80% of the population of the Earth does not own a home.
